If you are not excited about what you’ve got to offer, why should they be?
Truthfully, that’s the way people generally feel about it. Now, that doesn’t mean you have to have great charisma or the “gift of gab” to attract people or to get them to listen to your offer; but, it does mean that the person has to see that you genuinely believe in and are excited about it. Again, focus on the offer. It is perfect. I’m not perfect, but what I have is. I can get excited about that!
People generally join people – not churches, organizations, religions, etc. While allegiance to such may come in time, for most people the initial attraction is to other people (see 2 Corinthians 3:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:7-8). We need to be the kind of person that someone wants to join with or be around. Excitement is contagious.
