“I Just Want to Make a Difference”

I was watching a biography of a famous person late last night and was struck with what was attributed to him as his driving motivation.  I just want to make a difference, he would say.  It struck me that many notable figures in history were probably motivated by this sentiment; but, that also there must have been many “unsung heroes” who were motivated by the same drive.  They may not be known by the world, no books written about them, no movies depicting their life.  Yet, God is surely aware of those good people who have made a difference in this world!

The greatest difference we can make is to scatter the Seed of Faith, the Word of God, and lead others to the Truth.  Have you made a difference today?

I appreciate this as well as all the daily devotionals. They help keep me thinking on the right track! As Christians, we all need to make a difference in our worlds every day.

I think we sometimes get so discouraged when we don’t make a large spiritual impact that we abandon our efforts to have any impact at all. May we “fight the good fight” and leave the accolades to God!
